Doc West is a Texas based Country band that is influenced by George Strait, Garth Brooks, Chris LeDoux, and Merle Haggard. Shortly after graduating from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, he began writing and recording music. Over the past four years, Doc West has had 4 singles make the top 100 Texas Regional Radio Chart, with the highest hitting the top 40.
The most recent music video for “If She Wanted To” won best music video at the 2016 American Advertising Awards.
Doc West is well integrated within the Texas Music Scene and has opened for various artists, including Blackhawk, John Anderson, Randy Rogers, Roger Creager, Josh Abbott, and Aaron Watson amongst others.
Doc West and his band can be seen throughout the state of Texas as they continue to build their fan base and write about real life experiences that all listeners can relate to. In addition to traditional venue gigs, Doc enjoys playing charity benefits for a variety of causes and feels that it is his way of giving back through a talent by which the Good Lord has blessed him.
